Berkshire Green Drinks is an informal gathering held on the second Wednesday of each month, free and open to everyone with an interest in the environment. A guest speaker presents on an environmentally related topic for approximately 30 minutes, beginning at 6 PM. The presentation is followed by a discussion and Q&A session. Topics include wildlife tracking, clean energy, ongoing local research, beekeeping, conservation efforts, botany, and more. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring their questions!
Additionally, Berkshire Green Drinks is typically offered as a hybrid event, featuring in-person gatherings with the speaker at a Berkshire restaurant or pub, as well as a virtual Zoom meeting where online participants can have their questions answered.
Check out BEAT’s online calendar for the specifics each month. You can also see some of the previous Berkshire Green Drinks presentations on BEAT’s YouTube channel!
We’re always looking to collaborate with local restaurants for our monthly Berkshire Green Drinks social gatherings and hope to expand our network of local restaurants as regular hosts for events. Are you a business owner interested in collaborating with BEAT by hosting one of our upcoming Berkshire Green Drinks? Let us know by filling out this Google form!
What is Green Drinks?
Green Drinks is an international forum where people who work in the environmental field and environmental enthusiasts meet for a drink and snacks at informal sessions. There will be a lively mix of people from non-profit organizations, academia, government, business, and the general public. Green Drinks is a great way of catching up with people you know and for making new contacts. These networking events are very simple and unstructured. The drinks aren’t green but the conversations are. Come along and you’ll be made welcome!
