Spring is here! Join The Trustees and Williamstown Rural Lands for a second collaborative nature walk at Field Farm. This walk will focus on spring ephemerals, which are plants that emerge and bloom quickly in early spring. We’ll also look and listen for any returning migratory birds, other fauna, and signs of spring.

Flowers we hope to see include, but are not limited to:

• Trout Lily
• Hepatica
• Early Blue Cohosh
• Red Trillium (pictured above)

Even before the leaves return to the trees, plants with magical names like these abound.

Wear good shoes for walking around the property and potentially muddy conditions, and bring a water bottle.
