LGBTQ+ Pride Hike
Mass Audubon has teamed up with Queer Men of the Berkshires (Q-MoB) and the Housatonic Valley Association to offer a guided hike at Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary. Open to members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families, this hike will pass through a mix of forested and wetland habitats where beavers have changed the landscape. Look and listen for nesting birds and signs of other wildlife. Naturalists from Mass Audubon and the Housatonic Valley Association will be available to answer questions and share ways that you can help protect the nature of the Berkshires.
This program involves walking about two miles on scenic foot paths that may include some muddy or uneven ground.
