Guided Birding Walk at Lake Mansfield
Grab your binoculars and join Greg Ward and the Great Barrington Land Conservancy at Lake Mansfield for a morning of birding. Lake Mansfield is a birding hot spot—one hundred and fifty bird species have been recorded! Song birds, water fowl, raptors, and woodland birds live in the diverse habitats beside the lake and within the Conservation Forest.
Greg Ward, a Hoffman Bird Club member, will provide birding tips including the distinguishing field marks that help us to identify each species. You will learn about the Merlin app and how to log your sightings to Ebird. Your birding data will become part of the shared global effort to map bird ranges.
