Enjoy the magic of the fireflies at Sheep Hill on a Saturday night! This annual favorite, open to all, is a good excuse for kids to stay up late, just this once. And for adults to enjoy some fun. Flying insect expert enthusiast Doug Lister will tell stories and orient us to the evening flying critters we might see. Enjoy a catch-and-release firefly chase on the hill. And, yes, there will be s’mores.

Bring the whole family and a neighbor or two! Carpooling and cycling are encouraged. No registration needed for this event. If light drizzle present, we’ll meet, but rain drops will trigger a rain date of Sunday, June 29, same time. For questions, email programs@rurallands.org.
