Birding Fall Migration for Beginners

Learn tips to find and identify birds on their journey south during this casual, beginner-friendly walk. This program takes place in locations that contain a mix of forests, fields and wetlands that make them ideal for spotting migrant species, especially colorful wood-warblers, orioles, and thrushes.
Our walk will focus on the basics of bird-finding and identification as well as observing the behavior of the birds we can see. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a loaner pair from us.
Pre-registration is recommended. If the program is not full, a limited number of walk-ins can be accommodated by cash or check in exact change. Credit card payments are only for pre-registrations.
