Human Health Risks of PFAS from Land-Applied Biosolids in Agriculture

Join the Potomac Riverkeeper Network (PRKN) for the first installment in a three-part PFAS Webinar Series, “Toxic ‘Forever’ Chemicals & Agriculture: Protecting Soil, Water, and Livelihoods”. This series explores the impacts of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on our environment and communities. This session, “Human Health Risks of PFAS from Land-Applied Biosolids in Agriculture,” will examine how PFAS chemicals move through agricultural systems when biosolids are used as fertilizer, and the potential implications for human health, food safety, and water quality.
This distinguished panel of experts will share the latest scientific findings, discuss ongoing research, and highlight strategies to mitigate risk and protect public health.
