Family Friendly Bike Ride on the Rail Trail

Explore the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail with a State Park Interpreter (or two) from Mount Greylock State Reservation and discover many of the amazing natural and cultural features found along this popular recreational trail. Look for signs of wildlife and railroad history and follow along with a Rail Trail Scavenger Hunt! Come out to meet the park Interpreters and enjoy a lovely family friendly evening ride on the rail trail along the Cheshire Reservoir! This event is open to the public and FREE for all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your bike (traditional or e-bike pedal-assist class 1), water, bug spray, sunscreen, and a snack; wear a helmet, and clothing appropriate for the weather. Inclement weather cancels.
