Protect Our Predators: Help Stop Wildlife Poisoning in the Berkshires
April 28, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Owls, hawks, foxes, bobcats, and other predators are essential to keeping Massachusetts’ ecosystems healthy and balanced. But these vital species face a hidden threat: Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides (SGARs). These toxic rodent poisons are causing widespread illness and death in wildlife that feed on poisoned prey.
Mass Audubon’s Rescue Raptors program is partnering with communities across the state to curb the use of SGARs. Here in the Southern Berkshires, we have launched Rescue Southern Berkshires Wildlife to raise awareness and inspire action.
Join on Monday, April 28th, from 6:00-7:30 pm at Mt. Everett High School or by Zoom (registration required) for a powerful gathering where you’ll hear how these poisons affect local wildlife—and discover practical ways you can help reduce their use in South County.
DATE: Monday, April 28
TIME: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
LOCATION: Mt. Everett High School, 491 Berkshire School Rd, Sheffield OR Online Via Zoom
