Located at the foot of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts’ highest peak, the Glen Meadow Loop Trail winds through scenic meadows, forests and ponds. At this nature walk, look for clues that resident wildlife have left behind and discover where wild animals spend their time around the trail. Learn how natural history meets human history as you discover the stories behind the mysterious human-built structures in the forest — or why the picturesque wildflower-covered hills look the way they do.

This program will cover up to 1.7 miles of wide, gravel-paved trail that is level or gradually sloping.

Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Walk-ins are welcome with cash or check in exact change. Credit card payments are for pre-registrations only.
