Wildlife Tracking Through the Seasons

Sunday, January 16th @ 9:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.

This course is for more experienced trackers to improve skills in wildlife tracking. You will learn sign identification and interpretation in a small class environment. Students will strengthen their own knowledge of, and connection to, the natural world.

What You’ll Learn:

-Track and sign identification.
-The animals will show us the interactions they have with members of their own and other species.
-How animals use their habitat.
-What areas are important to animals in different seasons.
-About animal food preferences.
-Animal hunting strategies.
-How animals find water.
-How animals find shelter from the elements.
-About adaptations, cycles, connections, and interdependence in nature.
-Interpretation of animal behavior.
