Where are the Wildlands? The Case for New National Parks

Michael Kellett, RESTORE: The North Woods, and Susan Masino, Trinity College will discuss where our wildlands are, and review two new publications:

“Forest-clearing to create early-successional habitats: Questionable benefits, significant costs”

“Wildlands in New England: Past, Present, and Future”

Come early to explore and enjoy the highest point in Massachusetts (3,489 feet) and the first State Reservation, established on June 20, 1898, for the purpose of forest preservation!

A prix fixe dinner will be available after the presentation.
