Talks on the Hill: Stories of Invasion: When Non-native Plants Invade

March 16 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

From the plants we bring in on purpose to the plants that are accidentally introduced and then become pests, invasive plants have numerous stories of how they got here and spread, their impact and what we might do about them. Explore these stories of invasion and more with Joan Edwards, Samuel Fessenden Clarke Professor of Biology from Williams College. Afterwards, WRL staff will introduce upcoming invasive plant volunteer days.

This talk will be both in-person and on zoom. Registration required for zoom link. Link will be emailed out the night before the talk (March 15). For questions or accommodations, email programs@rurallands.org.
