Log Lunch: Prosecuting Environmental Crimes, David Joyce US Attorney’s Office

PROSECUTING ENVIRONMENTAL CRIMES IN FEDERAL COURT, David Joyce ’00, Assistant US Attorney, United States Attorney’s Office.

David Joyce joined the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2005 through the Attorney General’s Honors Program. He served three years in the Environmental Crimes Section in Washington, D.C., before returning home to Maine in 2008. Prior to joining DOJ, David served as a law clerk for United States District Judge Gene Carter. David received his BA from Williams College in 2000. He earned a MA in Marine Affairs and Policy and a JD from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. David expects to receive his doctorate in public health this spring from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

David will lead an informal career conversation about environmental law following his Log Lunch talk.
