Knowing Your Landscape: Protecting Wetlands

June 25, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join Williamstown Rural Lands for the on-the-land portion of their Knowing Your Landscape series.

Wetlands are critical ecosystems for water quality, water storage, and biodiversity, and because of this, they come with a number of regulations regarding the use of the land around them. Come learn on the land with Andre-Anne Chenaille, a wetlands specialist at Guntlow & Associates, Inc. We will explore local wetlands ecosystems while also discussing the importance of wetlands to our local environment, when you would employ the services of a wetlands specialist, and what happens during a visit — including a delineation demonstration.

You must register for this outing. Click here to register. For questions, contact programs@rurallands.org
