The forests of Vermont are one of our most important and beloved assets but today a changing climate is causing these forests to change as well. Join the National Parks Service for two half-hour presentations on this topic from researchers and expert foresters Anthony D’Amato and Ali Kosiba. Ali Kosiba will discuss how trees respond to environmental changes and stressors. Anthony D’Amato will discuss his research on the ways in which Vermont’s forest composition is predicted to change under different climate scenarios.
