Ecology-Based Landscape Design: An Intensive 4-Session Course

Join New Directions in the American Landscape (NDAL) for a deep dive into the fine points and subtle nuances of ecology-based landscape design, and the role culture and art can play in its evolution. Presenters will include Thomas Woltz, W. Gary Smith, Wambui Ippolito, and Larry Weaner.

Session 1: FOUNDATIONS OF ECOLOGY-BASED DESIGN: SCIENCE INTO PRACTICE — Wednesday, February 16th @ 1 – 4:30 PM EST
Session 2: THE OPEN LANDSCAPE: MEADOWS, OLD FIELDS, & SHRUBLANDS — Monday, March 7th @ 1 – 4:30 PM EST
Session 3: THE CANOPIED LANDSCAPE: WOODLANDS, EDGES, & HEDGEROWS — Monday, March 14th @ 1 – 4:30 PM EST
Session 4:THE PLANTS:MEADOWS, SHRUBLANDS, & WOODLANDS — Monday, March 21st @ 1 – 4:30 PM EST

4 sessions (3 class hours each)
1 Office Hours session* (1.5 hours)
All-Session Bundle: $340
Individual Sessions: $95 each
