CLF Virtual Break: The Future is Electric

March 24, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Thursday, March 24 @ 5:30 PM

Concerned about the dangers of fossil fuels and damage to our climate? Wondering if it’s even possible to break our addiction to them? Join Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) and friends in visualizing the future of clean energy happening right now in our work, in your town, and even in your kitchen! Hint: It’s electric! (Boogie-woogie-woogie)

As we watched gas and electricity prices increase this season, we also saw their suppliers cry that the solution to our supposed energy shortage is more fossil fuel infrastructure – more disruptive fracking, more fragile and explosive pipelines slithering underneath our homes, and more toxic fumes that pollute our air. But we know that fossil fuels cause indiscriminate damage to our climate. That polluting emissions warm our world, corrupt our air, and bring extreme weather to our communities.

So how do we break our addiction to them?

Join CLF staff members Greg Cunningham: Vice President & Director, Clean Energy Climate Change, Rishya Narayanan: Climate Communications Strategist, Emily Green: Senior Attorney, and Jackson Kaspari: Resilience Coordinator and Assistant City Planner for the City of Dover, New Hampshire to talk solutions and ask questions.

The goal is clear: We can’t wait any longer to act on climate change. The good news is there are clear small- and large-scale changes that you can take today. Tune in to learn more.
