MassDOT has prepared this S&amp;I Control Program Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024). Annual Reports are prepared in the intervening years between the five-year reporting cycle for the S&amp;I Control Environmental Status and Planning Report (ESPR) and to satisfy the commitments of the MEPA Certificate #11202 following the completion of the 2022 S&amp;I (ESPR). A TMDL establishes the maximum amount of a pollutant that a waterbody can receive and still meet water quality standards. The TMDL serves as the regulatory and technical basis for developing integrated water resource management plans designed to restore the water quality of impaired waterbodies.
