Now all the wetland issues are &#8220;off the table&#8221; during the MEPA review &#8211; a review that is supposed to bring forward all environmentally relevant facts. The Commission was badly served by the Conservation Agent (who is also a voting member of the volunteer commission &#8211; a clear conflict of interest in BEAT&#8217;s opinion). Allowing an Order of Conditions to be issued before the MEPA process fails to protect the environment in our opinion. This is exactly the problem that happened with Valley Mill that took three years to correct and cost the proponent lots of extra money.
