Wow! Our first Training Session started January 12, 2008.
The schedule for that session is shown below or on pdf.

 

  • Training sessions generally run from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
  • Three trainings are in Vermont and three are local. Some local trainings include evening sessions.
  • Car pools will be arranged for the trips to Wolfrun in Jericho, VT.
  • The cost to BEAT of training a wildlife monitor runs about $1,200. Trainees are asked to pay $450, plus the cost of staying overnight in Vermont for three of the trainings. We have raised a limited amount of money to help, so if you are enthusiastic about the prospect of a local KTMP group and willing to make the commitment to training and annual monitoring, please talk to Joan about the cost. Some assistance may be available.
