The Housatonic Valley Association (HVA) and Berkshire Environmental Action Team invite you to the first Earth Day River Festival at Fred Garner Park, Pittsfield to be held on Saturday April 23rd from 11:00am to 1:30pm. Around Earth Day 2016 tens of millions of Americans will take to the parks, rivers, oceans, and forests to celebrate this awe-inspiring planet. And now you can too! Come to Fred Garner Park on Pomeroy Avenue to enjoy a variety of environmental activities. Participate in a park cleanup. Learn about the critters in the river bottom. Become a water droplet and go on a water cycle journey. Bring your old, even stained, CLEAN clothes for the clothing drive.
